Are You a Messenger of Peace?

Subject: Are You a Messenger of Peace?

Dear Friends,

I've been approached by a highly-endorsed peace organization with an intriguing proposition.

They are looking for authors and aspiring authors who have felt something we've all felt...the need to take positive action to improve the way the world is going. And, if you've ever wanted to write a book, I think you'll find their proposition highly interesting.

10 Million Clicks For Peace is looking for 1,000 authors to write about one of the many aspects of peace, including such things as: personal peace, financial peace, life purpose, peace at work, peace in school, peace in one's relationships, physical peace (i.e. your health), peace with your pet, peace with the environment, and so forth.

Their plan is to create 1 million books of peace and have them printed by December 31st ready for distribution to schools, prisons, youth centers, churches, shelters, as well as the general public, during 2010.

To accomplish this, they've teamed up with a professional training company that teaches a course to help authors create their new books in a way that takes all the guess-work out of the book production process. You won't have to worry about such things as book cover design, interior layout, graphics, where to go for printing, and so forth.

This 6-week work-at-your-own-pace, home-study course removes all the obstacles from the book production process so you are left to focus on your message of peace.

What's really exciting is that the course even shows you how to find a topic that really resonates with you and you'll uncover a passion for writing your message of peace. You'll read more about this from the 10-pages of testimonials written by the new authors who took the course in 2008.

Now as far as the big picture goes, the thing that allows you to write your book in just weeks is that these are not full-sized books. They call them "mini-books," which are shirt-pocket sized (3.5" x 5") books only 32 pages in length. That's the equivalent of just 6 typed pages! They are fast to write because you'll use an easy pre-formatted writing template. If you've ever written a story or article, you can definitely write a mini-book.

Here's what Julian Kalmar, Founder of 10 Million Clicks says about them, and from what I've seen, the potential to do the good work of the Universe is now readily accessible to everyone.

"Personally, I was very impressed to see how Robert Evans has taken all the mystery out of the book writing process. I remember writing my book on Happiness...all the decision-making I had to go through, all the forms to acquire, the research of who to use as a printer, the graphics, the editing, the interior design. It was a huge undertaking."

"Instead, the entire process has been simplified as you'll see in the webinar."

"But, that pales by comparison to the realization I had of the profound effect we could have on world peace by using these mini-books as vehicles for teaching an entire generation how to live together more harmoniously. I'm very excited by the prospect of what we can all do by working together and I want this to mark a turning point in how the average citizen of any country can simply do their part to create peace on their own."

—Julian Kalmar, Founder 10 Million Clicks For Peace

If you've ever wanted to write a book and help the world in a big way, this just might be for you.

"Sound Of Music" Train Station Dance

"Sound Of Music" Train Station Dance: Why Is It So Popular? (VIDEO)

It's a publicity stunt for a reality show, but that doesn't seem to bother anyone, they just like it for what it is: a really cool, well shot video, that lets average people express their joy and talent and make those around them happy for a brief period. The producers chose the exact right song: one that harkens back to our childhoods, but also recalls Maria's unabashed upbeatness in the face of evil. We're in a global economic crisis, America's fighting two wars, there's genocide in Darfur, AIDs running rampant, and a pretty good shot that we could all be killed by bird flu in a year or two. We need this video.

Fire The Grid II

http://www.firethegrid.com/eng09/FTG2-for-animation.gif

Many people participated in a global meditation on 17th July 2007.
This was a significant event for planetary healing.
Read the amazing story!!

Another event will happen on Tuesday 28th July at 23.19 (11.19 pm - GMT) around the world.
The more people that participate the more effective it will be.

If the key component to the first FTG was joy and gratitude,
then the main components to attend to during the second phase
are to be present and accountable for who you are and your unique role in the cosmos.

Visualize peace and abundance for all.
This is the time we see the world we choose to live in.
See it in all its splendour; you must see even that which you could not believe to be true.
Imagine in your mind a community sharing and caring for all.
Imagine a world of plenty using systems that work with our earth for a sustainable coexistence with humanity. See peoples' needs and desires met in a loving, peaceful manner cooperating in all so that we all will benefit. See it! What does it look like?
See the people in your life living in harmony.
See the children of the world in comfort and delight choosing just like us.
A cooperative planet sharing the journey seeing to needs of all including our great mother earth.
There is a new race of children ready to change the world from within.
They will be the leaders of this movement, we are just clearing a path so they may see a better way.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu to the Dalai Lama: We stand with you

We the undersigned Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, human rights leaders and concerned individuals wish to express our concern at the current deterioration of the human rights situation in Tibet, and the apparent breakdown of the talks between the Chinese government and emissaries of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

We are dismayed at the lack of any concrete progress toward resolving the conflict over the autonomy and religious freedom of the Tibetan people, and urge all parties involved to redouble their effort to achieve this vital goal.

"To our dear friend His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we say: we stand with you. You define non-violence and compassion and goodness. Clearly China does not know you. It is our sincere hope that they will. We call on China's government to know His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as we and so many others have come to know him during the long decades he has spent in exile.

"We ask the esteemed Navi Pillay, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to visit Tibet, and request that she be given access to assess and report to the international community the current state of affairs for the Tibetan people. The High Commissioner should be allowed to travel with journalists and other observers and, working with all parties involved, assist in bringing these decades of struggle to a peaceful resolution.

"China is uniquely positioned to impact and affect our world. We ask you to please use this position to improve our world by listening to the voices of the Tibetan people, and creating a new solution for Tibet that allows this culture to flourish.

"This will help not only Tibet. It will help China. It will demonstrate to us that China is willing to be a responsible partner in international global affairs.

"Finally, we ask that China stop naming, blaming and verbally abusing one whose life has been devoted to peace. His Holiness the Dalai Lama, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, is not simply a holy man. He is recognized throughout the world as one of our few true moral authorities. He is a teacher who has shown us all how to live our lives with compassion, non-violence and love."

In Earnest,

Archbishop Desmond Tutu
