I Dont Know How To Love Him

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bn7exBrCiUI&fmt=18

Lyrics:

...Close your eyes close your eyes
and forget all about us tonight.

MARY MAGDALENE:

I don't know how to love him.
What to do, how to move him.
I've been changed, yes really changed.
In these past few days, when I've seen myself,
I seem like someone else.
I don't know how to take this.
I don't see why he moves me.
He's a man. He's just a man.
And I've had so many men before,
In very many ways,
He's just one more.
Should I bring him down?
Should I scream and shout?
Should I speak of love,
Let my feelings out?
I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about?
Don't you think it's rather funny,
I should be in this position.
I'm the one who's always been
So calm, so cool, no lover's fool,
Running every show.
He scares me so.
I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about?
Yet, if he said he loved me,
I'd be lost. I'd be frightened.
I couldn't cope, just couldn't cope.
I'd turn my head. I'd back away.
I wouldn't want to know.
He scares me so.
I want him so.
I love him so.

Dolores O'Riordan "Ave Maria"(Live) w/ The Passion of Christ

I searched for hours looking for a video which depicted Mel Gibson's "Passion Of Christ" very last scene. It's only seconds long. I wish Mel would have spent some more time developing that theme. I almost overlooked it, since I had my eyes closed for most of the movie.

So here is a video where you can view the last scene as Christ rises, rising and raring to go back on His mission.

This last scene puts it all together for me.

Transforming Good Friday Beliefs

Being raised Roman Catholic, my dream is to have a critical mass of Christians release their attachments to pain, suffering, martyrdom, and torture in order to be close to God.

Just think of how much sweeter life would be if the patterns of sin, punishment, guilt, drama, penance, worthlessness, and valuelessness were stricken from our DNA encoding?

And that we could live a life full of love, happiness, joy, bliss, and fun! Can you imagine how different the world would be?

What would you rather have running in your system?

Every Good Friday, in towns across the Philippines, people atone for sins or give thanks for an answered prayer by re-enacting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Sometimes people repeat the penance year after year, like the fish vendor who will be nailed to the cross for the 15th and last time on Friday to give thanks for his mother's recovery from tuberculosis. With long hair and a beard, wearing sandals and a crown of thorns, he is tied with cloth to the cross but also has nails driven through the flesh of his hands and feet, avoiding the bones.

ASTROTABLETALK: Have a Good Friday!

And closer to home, Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood also reenacts the Crucifixion.
Albeit with less torture and pain.

Happy Easter 2008

Rembrandt's The Risen Christ Appearing To Mary Magdalene

I like to replace old images from my past that no longer serve my highest good.

When I was young my Catholic upbringing flooded me with images of a suffering Christ, especially at Easter. We would pray the Stations Of The Cross with deep religious fervor. And we would recount the Passion Of Christ, bleeding from His crown of thorns, carrying the cross, torture, and crucifixion.

And on Easter Sunday I would still feel solemn and sad from Good Friday's rituals.

What helped me heal all those images of abuse, suffering, and martyrdom was to transform my beliefs regarding this Holy Weekend.

So I have changed my images of the victim Christ with an empowered Christ, a spiritual leader and Master. And that I need to remember Christ through His resurrection, His coming back to life. He opened the door for us.

And that His resurrection is a symbol of how we can also transform our victimization, abuses, suffering, woundedness, etc., into a New Life, a Rebirth, a Resurgence of our natural healing, regeneration, and restorative abilities. And, more importantly, prepare our bodies to be vessels that carry more light so that we too can ascend.

I think this is the true message Christ meant to deliver.

Receive Christ's Love This Easter

Rembrandt van Rijn, Christ Resurrected

Are you afraid to open your heart? Are you afraid of the unknown, or afraid of making a conscious decision to move with the Light?

Or do you close your heart because you are afraid if we give love away it won’t come back? Because no one will return in kind?

Whenever you give love, even if it is rejected, even if it is trampled upon, scoffed at or mocked, it is never wasted. It is recorded in your Causal Body of Light.

Your Soul knows you love. And God knows it too.

No love goes unnoticed and no love is without the vibration of Christ consciousness. You see, Christ aught us how to love.

If you are involved in a personal relationship where you feel the love which you are giving is being rejected, continue to love.

You can never love too much. There is no such thing when it is genuine. So, never be afraid to love. Know it is safe to love.

Open and feel the warm glow of Christ’s Unconditional Love. For this is the purest source of Love.

You will see how wonderful life is when lived in the high vibration of Christ’s Unconditional Love.

Pouring forth this Easter Day. And continuing to pour forth every day.
