Molly escaped from Musa Hala Inc. on Wednesday and shocked some Jamaica residents as she romped through the streets during her great escape.
The 1-year-old black cow was finally cornered on 109th Avenue near 147th Street.
Today, there are greener pastures for Molly. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said she has been spared death row and was headed for a Calverton sanctuary named The Farm on Thursday.
"I was chilling in the yard when a cow came out of nowhere," said 20-year-old Adam Kahn, who lives in the home where Molly made her last stand. "I just said, 'Wow! a cow in South Jamaica.' I've seen raccoons and stuff, but never a cow. That was crazy."
